About Locomotive Climate Solutions

In 2006 there seemed a lack of companies in Southern California that understood the complexities of certain LRV HVAC Systems. Founder Peter Kadlubski took it upon himself to study these systems and begin servicing them. This also required building relationships with each parts’ original manufacturers, most of which are in Europe, to learn and maximize the service work he performed.
Thus started LCS.

Over time, other Transit Authorities began utilizing LCS for their Rail HVAC parts, service and overhaul capabilities. As well, parts were becoming discontinued by the original manufacturers. LCS began building relationships with companies all over the world, specifically Europe, who could work with them to manufacture upgraded versions of some of these obsolete parts.

In 2016 the company moved their operations into a larger facility in Temecula, CA to be able to service more Transit Authorities across the US. This allowed them to expand their services to include multiple other train components, including PowerPacks. LCS moved into their new facility in Temecula to accommodate the company’s increasing business and growing staff.

LCS is a small business that does big work. They pride themselves in the relationships they build and keep with customers and suppliers alike, many of which are spread across the globe. LCS and the employees thereof uphold the same key values that the company was founded upon 15 years ago. Whether you are purchasing a $5 part or performing a Fleet overhaul, LCS makes sure the satisfaction of each customer is not simply met, but exceeded.

Disavantaged Business Enterprise

On June 25th, 2024 LCS received their official women-owned Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification by the US California Department of Transportation, under NAICS code 488210 “Support Activities for Rail Transportation.”
